Life is too short to read a bad book.

Well, Crap
I binged again. At this rate, I'm never going to catch up. Damn the Friends of the Library rack, anyway. It's all their fault really. I have no willpower.

Now that I'm done ranting, these are my new finds:

Patricia Coughlin:
Merely Married

Millie Criswell:
Asking for Trouble

Janet Dailey:
For Bitter or Worse
Masquerade
Stands a Calder Man

Jude Deveraux:
A Gift of Love (Anthology)

Jo Ann Ferguson:
Moonlight on Water

Judith Ivory:
The Indiscretion

Tara Janzen:
Crazy Love

Rachel Lee:
July Thunder

Patricia Potter:
Swamp Fire

Amanda Quick:
Something Shady

Mary Lou Rich:
The Tomboy

Nora Roberts:
Honest Illusions

Sandra Schwab:
The Lily Brand

LaVyrle Spencer:
The Gamble
Hummingbird
Twice Loved

Katherine Stone:
Bed of Roses

Marianne Willman:
The Lost Bride

And since I was there anyway, I checked out a couple:

If I Have a Wicked Stepmother, Where's My Prince? by Melissa Kantor
Heiress for Hire by Erin McCarthy

A good stash of books there. I went to Borders and got some Loretta Chase ones. I am so weak, but I had a gift card, so I had to spend it, right?

Stacy ~ Of course you have to spend it! Otherwise, what good is it? :-)

Great list! I think Honest Illusions is one of the best Nora books out there.

First, before I forget again...I love the winter theme here on your blog.

Sheesh when you said binge I thought you meant FOOD. Guess I'm hungry and should go eat.

Yeah! Sarah McCarty has another fan!! Cougar's story is good, but just wait until you read PROMISES PREVAIL. *swoon*

Shelly ~ I'll be looking forward to reading it. Probably during Christmas vacation when I'll have close to 2 weeks to just lounge and read.

Rosie ~ Promises Prevail is Lori's favorite Promises book, too. I'm looking forward to reading Clint and Jenna's story. And I'm glad you like the new look ~ I was ready for a change.

You got quite a nice haul there. I haven't read all of the but Merely Married gets a thumbs up from me. As do the LaVyrle Spencer books. Also good is Honest Illusions and Swamp Fire (I think. It's been years since I read that one. It's very old isn't it - a Harlequin Historical)

Kristie ~ I just hope I get to read them soon. I've got Thanksgiving weekend next week and then Christmas vacation. I wonder how many I'll get to? Swamp Fire is from 1995 ~ the cover is atrocious, but the book sounds good. I've got a few of PP's other books hanging around waiting to be read also.

Dev, I hope you'll enjoy The Lily Brand! It's a rather dark story, but once you've made it past Chapter 3, there's actually an itty-bitty bit of humour, too. :)

    Happy reading!

    Best wishes from Germany,
    Sandra

I just overdosed on book acquisition, too. So hard to resist. :)

I too binged, Dev... son don't feel bad :D just asking though, you bought all of these? :P I loved the NR you got there :D and I love Katherine Stone, so I hope you enjoy Bed of Roses :)

I binged the other day too, but have not had a chance to post my purchases. I bought a huge book lot off of eBay. There were a few books in the lot that I already have in hardback, so I'll probably raffle them off on BTC.. sometime. I sure don't need two copies.

Sandra ~ I'm looking forward to it.

Dewey ~ Very hard to resist. I have no willpower.

Nath ~ I did buy all of them off the Friends of the Library rack. They're only a quarter a piece. but I've run out of room for my TBR pile.

Crystal ~ I'll be keeping my eye out for the raffle. A huge book lot, hm? How fun! I probably need to stay away from that.

I'm so jealous!! I've seriously cut back on buying. And it makes me sad. LOL

  • At 11:21 AM, Blogger Dev

Ames ~ I need to. I've thought about doing your thing and not buying any new books until I've read some off the TBR pile, but that's about all I've done is thought about it.

Ugh, LUCKY!!! You've got some great reading ahead of you, I haven't bought anything in so long it's ridiculous but I'm so envious that you got to binge...I wanna binge!

    Happy Reading sweetie!

Wena ~ Thanks! I just wish I had the time to read them all. Vacation time can't come soon enough.

Woot! Look at the list of books.
In a few days I plan to do a few ebook purchases, but the only print book on my list is the new Lucy Monroe book on the 27'th.

Chantal ~ I'm excited for Lucy's new book, too!
