Life is too short to read a bad book.

I Am A Blubbering Idiot
So, does anyone else watch Dancing with the Stars? Anybody else bawl like a baby tonight when they watched it? Monique's dance ~ when she cried at the end, I couldn't help it. I just had to cry. And then there's Jerry and Kim. I cried all the way through Jerry's segment ~ his wish was to learn the waltz so he could dance at his daughter's wedding. How sweet is that? And then when he went to hug his wife and give her a kiss at the end? I didn't think I'd make it. Now, I usually don't vote for either one of them ~ tonight, I really wish I had.

Personally, I blame Isabel, Holly, and Dylan because of their posts on the top movies that make you cry, and then Holly's beautiful post on What Might Have Been.

Seems like I'm a nostalgic melancholy fool lately. I definitely need to buy stock in Kleenex. (PS ~ What does perimenopause feel like?)

On a brighter note ~ guess who went out and got The Little Mermaid today?!

Haven't watched Dancing, but I uderstand the weepiness, I get like that too- espcially when the people on screen cry!

THE LITTLE MERMAID! Love it! I'm gonna have to pick me up a copy too!

    *Les poissons, les poissons
    Hee-hee-hee, haw-haw-haw ...*

    Oh sure blame me? lol.

Joey forgot to buy The Little Mermaid yesterday. (there's a walmart right by his work) ACK! I told him he has to get it today.

Hey, it's easier to blame you than to take responsibility for my own actions :-)

Well, Emily does have some good poetry. I think what makes it sad is we as the reader know how she lived? Maybe? A couple of my favorites are "Because I Could Not Stop For Death", and "I'm Nobody ~ Who Are You".

Isabel ~ I knew you were excited about getting it yesterday too! Bad Joey. Hope he remembers to pick it up today.

Zeek ~ It's awful. I hope it passes soon! Isn't Sebastian the cutest crab?! My favorite part is "Kiss the Girl". I'm such a sap.

I love "kiss the girl" too! Especially when the frogs come up on the oar singing "la la la la don't be shy ..."

My sister has 3 boys ages 8 to 3. She said it just recently dawned on her that they don't have any of the "princess" Disney movies. She in particular wanted this one. I'll have to tell her its out again.

Perimenopause feels like your body and your periods are alien to whatever has been "normal" before. For me, since the changes weren't dramatically different, I sort of ignored them for awhile.

Also, I don't know of one male gyn-o who will admit you are in perimenopause. If you want real help, see a woman dr.

Zeek ~ And then the poor buzzard who tries to sing the La-la-La-las. I just love that movie.

Rosie ~ I got it at Walmart for $14.87. I can't believe I didn't watch it when I got home. Probably because I was too busy crying over Jerry Springer.

I am not watching Dancing with the Stars this year. The novelty has worn off for me. I did see the clip with Jerry and I shed a couple of tears. Over a 7 second clip. I am going to tune in tonight to see what happens.

I got Mermaid at Walmart on Tuesday. I have a 2 1/2 year old girl and it's Wednesday and we've watched it twice already! No tears but Beauty and the Beast gets me every damn time!!

Nikki ~ It's hard to say for me ~ I'd say The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty are tied for first with me, followed by Beauty and the Beast and then Cinderella. I don't have kids of my own, and my niece is 14 now but she still watches with me. My other must have is Anastasia, even if it's not a Disney movie.

I started watching DWTS this season. It was good last night. Jerry Springer - emotional - who'd have thought. I thought they were all good but Mario Lopez - Hot Holy Shit - did he do a fantastic dance!!!!

    Hey you!

I bought the Little Mermaid yesterday, well my sister did, so we have it, I want to watch it tonight, but it's OTH night, so who knows when I'll watch it...am I the only dork that has Part of Your World and Kiss the Girl uploaded to my Ipod? LOL...I love those songs, I was looking for Zeek's song though the one where the cook is trying to cook Sebastian! LOL.

And hey, I've been in a crying mood lately too, it's something in the air I think! ;)

LOVE Little Mermaid. Love the second Little Mermaid, too. I think because it shows Ariel and Eric (or is it Aric?) are still in love after all those years of marriage. lol.

Also, The Little Mermaid 2 Playstation game is a blast!

I've always tried to go to my happy place when things start getting too emotional. But the older I get the harder that gets. I cried in the car today listening to a song. It wasn't even a sappy song!

    Crimanetly!

Kristie ~ I liked Mario the first few episodes and then stopped. I ff'd through his dance last night, and I really wished I hadn't.

Dylan ~ There's got to be something in the water. My hormones are all over the place.

Jen ~ Exactly! My boss thinks it's due to the change in weather cause there's a lot of us at work who are a little "bluesy".

Oh yes Nicci, Beauty and Beast is probably my fav ... love her spirit and spunk! And i LOVE the songs!

(I'm a huge musical girl! West Side Story, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Les Miz, Cats, Phantom (didn't like the recent movie though) Oklahoma, Cabaret, Fiddler On the Roof, Guys and Dolls, Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, South Pacific- love 'em all! HEE!

Mine too! I just felt like crying the other night and so I sat there, bawling my eyes out while reading...it's freaky! LOL.

I'm watching this tonight AND I'm going to review it, gosh I love this movie!

    *sigh*

Thursday night is TV night ~ I'll be watching Grey's and maybe ER, although I've had to suffer through the first 2 episodes. It's not as good this year.
