*heavy sigh*
For me it never did. I've tried getting into this book any number of times and it just didn't work - at all. Which was such a disappointment after loving Welcome to Temptation.

Kristie ~ So glad it's not just me. Everybody seems to love this one and I just am wondering what I've missed.

Everybody seems to love this one
Actually, you're wrong. They don't. I think I'm the only person who loved this story. Really. I tell people I loved it and they go, "Seriously? Faking It? By JC?" LOL
In my defense, however, I had to read it a couple times before I really loved it. It's not the best book ever, but it really grew on me.

Holly ~ I know you've read this one about 5 times, and I think it took you at least 2 rereads before you liked it, right?
-
Yep, that's pretty much it. There were a couple parts I liked, which is why I kept re-reading it, and then before you know it I loved the whole thing.
-
Holly ~ I may have to go that route. There's a few things I've liked so far. Like how Davy keeps stealing the wrong pictures. Or the whole first time they "do the deed" with I Pretend on the jukebox while she's faking an orgasm. I suppose I can build on those and hopefully I'll end up liking more things.

Holly wasn't the only one! I think this is the first JC I read and I loved it too :D although I didn't read it as many times as Holly did.
-
Nath ~ I've put it down for now. I'll retry it later. I purposefully didn't read it after WTT because I was afraid I wouldn't like it. So instead, I picked it up after Bet Me. Go figure. Not my brightest move.
-
This was my least favorite of all the Crusies!
-
Mollie ~ I can understand why. I've put it down for now, but will go back and read it again later.
-
Yup - I'm not a big JC fan. *ducking all the tomatoes*
-
Lori ~ I'll block the tomatoes for you :-) I've been really happy with the last two JC's I've read, so this one was a real disappointment.
