Jen ~ When I was a nanny I was an extra in 2 movies ~ all made for TV. One of them was with Morgan Fairchild ~ I don't even remember the name of it. We just happened to be at the Sherman Oaks Galleria at the time and the director told us that instead of standing around and watching to make ourselves useful. That's how I accidently got in that one. I was also in a movie called "When We Were Young" (I actually got paid for that one). It had Cindy Gibb, Grant Show, Stephen Weber, Eric LaSalle. I sure wish I could get a copy of that movie ~ you can actually see me in it. :-).
Rosie ~ Well, it's helpful when you don't have a thing to post about :-)
Zeek ~ Not so much tired as being young, stupid, and drink a 5th of Tequila all by myself (FYI ~ the smell of that stuff still turns my stomach). -
Zeek ~ We're actually going to do a few of them. For the Strawberry Festival, we're going to have fancy chocolate covered strawberries; then for the Farmer's Market we're talking about having a lunch table (aka fancy sandwiches) and also have some homemade goodies. Those types of things sell fast at the Farmer's Market. We're going to rent a portable fridge unit (they're relatively inexpensive) and then you can rent the kitchens at the local shelters, etc., for very cheap ~ so you virtually have very little overhead. We figured if we're really serious about opening our own catering business, it's a great way to get our names out there.
