I Love Montana Weather
So, going to work this morning there was between an inch to an-inch-and-a-half of snow. The trees were beautiful, all covered in white. I was going to take a picture. It was just breathtaking.

Now, I look out my window and the sky is blue, leaves are falling and the snow has completely melted. This is Montana weather, folks. If you don't like it, wait a minute ~ it will change.

Funny, that's what they say about Chicago weather LOL. Though I'm not really loving it much right now.

I wish it would snow here. We're not likely to get more than 5-6' all winter. *boo hoo* I wanna go sledding.

LOL That should be 5-6" not 5-6'!! Too funny.

LOL! I remember that weather from SD, and I have to tell you, I don't miss it one bit! Better you than me, babe.

That's what we used to say when I lived in Colorado, too. I miss that snow one minute then gorgeous blue skies the next...

Stacy ~ Funny. I wasn't loving the drive much this morning, but the scenery was beautiful.

Amanda ~ I love the snow, I just hate driving in it. I haven't gotten sledding in about 20 years.

Holly ~ I did 3 winters in Californa. But, I always came home for Christmas. I have to have snow ~ even just for a little while. I absolutely love the change of seasons.

Lori ~ My favorite times during the winter are the early morning hours when there's crisp white frost hanging everywhere. The trees are beautiful, the roads even look awesome ~ although it's like driving on a skating rink. I have to remember to take a picture one of these times, because the frost doesn't last and it's one of the most beautiful things to see.

Yes, that sounds a lot like ole Indiana too! I've always said that the most secure job to have in Indiana would be to be a meteorologist - the weather is so unpredictable that we don't even expect the weatherman to know what the heck is going on...consequently, all of our t.v. weathermen are like 100 yrs. old! Who would retire from a job that you can be wrong at 75% of the time and not get fired? lol

Jodi ~ I want that job! :-) We have 2 weathermen here and their forcasts are always different. They're both supposed to be meteorologists but they never report the same things. I usually look at the digital weather report on my DVR ~ But that's been wrong a lot too. It's hard to guess anymore.

It was cold over the weekend but today in PA it's back up to 70. Yes, I believe you can officially call this an "indian summer" for us.

My Dad's still in Helena, but when he couldn't go to the Carroll College game this past weekend because it was too cold, he's decided it's time to head to warmer weather. He says it's lots colder this fall already compared to last year. Looks like you guys are going to have a crazy winter.

Zeek ~ It's supposed to be in the 50's today. I want to be outside!

Rosie ~ The weather gets crazier here every year. Last winter, we didn't have much of one ~ I think it snowed maybe 5 or 6 times all winter. There was one big snow storm, but other than it was very mild. Who knows what's going to happen this year?

I'm so over the hot weather over here in Southern Cali, I am SO ready for some colder weather already, this heat is freaking KILLING ME, it's 8 o'clock at night and it's so effing hot!

I want some colder weather, I should move to Montana dammit!

Dylan ~ I hate hot weather. I usually suffer through summer until the cooler temperatures come back. My perfect day is about 50 degrees with a light breeze. I'm fairly hot blooded so the hotter temperatures really make me uncomfortable.
