Announcement!!!
I'm not sure if you all remember this post from August 23 in regards to on-campus housing at work. I've been praying for this since July and just yesterday I was offered one of the houses!! I'm so excited. This really is an answer to my prayers. Of course, this means I'll be on call one day per week (Wednesdays) and every 6th weekend. But that's it. So worth it for housing to me. No rent, no utilities, no excessive gas prices.

Oh and best of all ~ I'll have one room completely for my books. And a spare room for when I grow out of that one.

    Lori ~ Thanks! Probably in about a month. Is it sick that I'm so excited? I'm so ready for a fresh start.

    Marg ~ It's definitely worth it. That's barely any on-call time at all and it saves me close to $800/month.

    Holly ~ Thanks! I'm so excited. I cannot wait to move. I get to buy bookshelves. I get to setup a library! I get to organize my TBR pile!

    Wow, that's sounds wonderful. What could be better than saving $800/month and having room for books. I can't think of a thing. I'd be walking in the clouds too.

    Rosie ~ I think that too. I just can't wait to get moved in and settled. It's still a month away, but I wish it was sooner. Ah well. It'll be soon enough.

    Rosie ~ I might actually do some holiday baking this year! I haven't in years past because of the room it takes up, the time, and the money. This year, I may be able to tackle it. I'm hoping to make some Georgia Pralines :-)

    Cindy ~ Thanks! I just wish I could start moving already. I have to wait for the person who's in the place now to move out ~ his new place is currently empty, so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long.
